Serving Ministries

Emergency Response Team Ministry

This department will provide trained CPR personnel to all church and major events at Bishop’s request, held at Bethel Deliverance International Church, and at events that are covered by the Church liability insurance policy.  Services will consist of assessing the needs of the emergency and to determine what actions will be necessary to evaluate the problems by the Emergency Response Team only.  No outside medical services should be called by any person(s) outside of the ERT supervisor’s assessment.  You must be 21 years of age to serve on this ministry.

Facilities Monitoring

The volunteers for facilities monitoring are needed to help keep our Sanctuary and the campus clean.  Volunteer services are needed during Sunday services, special services and events held at Bethel Deliverance International Church.

Security Ministry

Provides protection for the members, employees and property of Bethel. This ministry takes very seriously the Scripture, “Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:4.

Ushers, Greeters and Nurses

The usher/greeter ministry is a “first impression ministry”.  We greet you at the door on Sunday mornings when you enter the Sanctuary.  We are the welcoming committee, we are servants, and we are the first people you see when you come in.  We help to maintain order, direct people to their seats and act as traffic controllers when necessary.  The job of an usher is to be able to comfort the congregation when necessary, and maintain their dignity while they are worshiping and enjoying the service.  The greeters help to set the tone when the congregation is entering into the service, as they are greeting the people and handing out the bulletins.

Van and Church Bus Driving Ministry

Bethel Deliverance International Church has and will continue to provide seniors and those with disabilities limited transportation to and from Sunday church services and other specific church activities.  Our key objective is to provide trained volunteers who will offer the utmost in driver and vehicle safety to those entrusting us with their transportation needs and care.

Hospitality

Another ”first impression ministry” that brings on the charm and elegance as well.  The Hospitality team works when there are special events for Bethel Deliverance International Church and Bethel Deliverance International Fellowship of Churches. Along with the ushers and greeters, the Hospitality team sets the tone of the event – they aim to accommodate.
