Single Parent Roundtable

Bethel Community Outreach Ministry invites all single parents to attend a Single Parent Roundtable Discussion on Friday, May 22nd, 6-9 pm, in the Prayer Chapel. This is a special time for engaging with others about issues and challenges unique to single parents and how to get access to resources and support for success!
Questions that will be addressed and answered include:

How do you deal with the challenges of parenting between two separate homes and religious beliefs and lifestyle?

How do I talk to my child about why the other parent is not around and/or involved in their life?

How do I deal with dating and my children?

It is hard to raise a young boy. How do I go about finding a role model/mentor?

How do I explain a parent’s imprisonment to my child/ren?

I am so challenged by life’s responsibilities; it is sometimes hard to focus on my child’s needs and my needs. How do I find balance?

How do I deal with a child who is struggling with gender identification?

How do I balance work and parenting when I am extremely tired at the end of a day?
